To the girl with a broken heart,

I see it in your eyes though you smile and laugh I see it in the way you listen to music and hear the meaning behind the words. And I see it in the way you talk about the past. You, my friend are heartbroken.

Your heart has been broken. Whether it be the first boy you ever loved, the loss of an old friendship, or the wear and tear hearts after go through. I think it is very hard, ever as, for once, an outsider looking in, to find the words that can make you feel better.

I know it seems like you are alone but I hope you know you aren’t. Despite the emotions you are feeling, you have a choice. You will always have a choice. It is your choice to grow from that emptiness or not. It is your choice to move on or to be happy.

You are so loved more than you know, and that is the thing you should always remember. You deserve too much to ever feel less than that, and no person is allowed to take that away from you. Your future is out there, closer than it seems.

Keep this in mind, you are loved and valued by our Father in Heaven. You are precious and that you are worthy. Even if you are still experiencing that pain and emptiness, He’s in control. Maybe it’s His way of saying that you deserve better and I have better plans for you my daughter. Trust Him. Have faith in Him. Cheer up! You are loved. You are beautiful, and you are going to be okay!
